Dr. Veronica M. Jones, PhD, MPH, CHES, is an Assistant Professor with Rutgers Cooperative Extension’s Department of Family and Community Health Sciences. With more than 15 years of experience, she advances health equity through community-engaged scholarship, translational research, and policy advocacy focused on addressing social determinants of health.

October 18: Rutgers Healthy Harvest: Growing Food Security from Campus to Community
Dr. Cara L. Cuite is the Associate Director for Community and Student Engagement at the Rutgers Institute for Food, Nutrition, and Health and an Associate Professor in the Department of Human Ecology. She is trained as a health psychologist, and her professional work focuses on community food security, public risk communication, and public perceptions of food-related issues.

Gather together in fellowship as we prepare turkeys and side dishes to be served the next day to neighbors experiencing hunger at House of Mercy Mission. Enjoy time together while putting our faith into action and answering Jesus’ call to feed the hungry.
